About this role

Well Integrity & Intervention Engineer required for leading
O&G Operator.


  • Drives HSE performance in accordance with Total Group objectives, demonstrates HSE leadership and promote a safety culture with the team and service providers;
  • Ensure that health, safety and environmental risks are assessed, and necessary measures taken to mitigate safety and health risks according to ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practical) principle.


  • Deliver according to the SOR Well Delivery Process;
  • Book resources / equipment, ensure IOP updated, execute IWOP / readiness review;
  • Set-up reporting systems, SAP and provide probabilistic time/cost estimation;
  • Ensure regulatory permits in place and followed.


  • Prepare the Well Service Programme in compliance with Total Rules, industry standards and regulatory requirements to deliver the Integrity / Subsurface objectives as per SOR;
  • Ensure that operational risks are assessed and that necessary measures taken to mitigate operational risks and that contingencies have been evaluated and implemented;
  • Identify new suppliers and new technology as an aid to optimizing well delivery and reducing well cost;
  • Ensures that programs are technically validated, best technology selected, lessons learned incorporated.


  • Ensure programs are issued 14 days ahead of execution and revived in advance with platform management;
  • Check and ensure that offshore reporting including NPT (Non Productive Time) is done correctly and adequately on a daily basis;
  • Ensure that rental equipment items are returned to contractors promptly.


  • Ensure lessons learnt are captured and included in the close-out-memo;
  • Track daily cost, QC lookahead, QC reporting, QC loadout and backload, chemical usage;
  • Provide monthly accruals;
  • Follow the MoC process for any changes.


  • Provide feedback to contract owners on each contractor's performance for SQM;
  • Coach, mentor and Performance Monitoring of team members.



Professional qualifications:

  • Graduate Engineer in relevant technical discipline;
  • 10 years successful industry experience in technical discipline;
  • Proven offshore experience will be great (even though this is an onshore position);
  • Safety leader and ability to solve complex problems in an innovative and cost-effective manner.

Personal qualifications:

  • Good listening skills, communication skills and decision-making ability, along with negotiating skills;
  • Fluency in English;
  • IWCF Well Control Level 4.
